The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Public Administration is a postgraduate-level certification for public administration abilities.Public service managers confront pressure to produce more with less, negotiate a complicated policy climate, and improve performance while preserving public service ideals. This OTHM Level 7 Diploma will empower professionals in public and non-profit organisations to handle these issues.

Equivalences

includes 120 credits, 1200 hours TQT, and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).

Duration

The certification is meant to be completed in one academic year for full-time study, however part-time and online learning are also options.

The qualification is delivered face-to-face, through lectures, tutorials, seminars, distance, online by approved centres only.

Assessment

OTHM verifies all units internally appraised by the centre. The credentials are criterion-referenced, depending on learning outcomes.

verification

To pass a unit, students must show they've met all learning goals and assessment criteria requirements. Assessor determines whether learners met assessment standards.

audit trail

The Assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the judgement of the learners’ overall achievement has been arrived at.

Entry requirements

  • An honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
  • Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
  • Learners must be 21 years old or older at the beginning of the course
