Advanced Entry

Advanced Entry & China Programme Support

Support for students from Chinese university international programmes who need UK Year 2, top-up or advanced-entry review.

Turning a Chinese academic record into a UK admissions-ready file.

Some students have completed one or more years in China, an international undergraduate programme, a pathway route, an HND, OTHM or another external qualification. OTC prepares the evidence layer that helps receiving universities decide whether they can consider direct entry, advanced standing or a suitable alternative route.

Student routeCFAU / IBP and similar programmes

Current university, programme title, year completed, teaching language, modules, credits, marks and intended UK subject are organised before any university enquiry.

Academic evidenceTranscript and grading context

OTC checks whether the file includes transcript, grading scale, ranking/GPA explanation, course descriptions, teaching schedule and high-school records where useful.

Mapping workModule and subject comparison

Modules are grouped by subject area, level, learning focus and relevance to the target UK course. Gaps are flagged rather than hidden.

Admissions useClean enquiry pack

The final pack can support an admissions pre-check, direct-entry enquiry, Year 2 application question or alternative route discussion.

Evidence Pack

Typical advanced-entry document pack

English translation or certified-translation route check
Course descriptions and module summaries
Credit / contact-hour / assessment notes where available
High-school academic record if requested

Advanced entry is always discretionary. OTC can prepare a strong evidence file and admissions question, but the receiving university decides whether Year 2, top-up, credit recognition, alternative entry or standard Year 1 entry is possible.
