U of A 的帶薪實習版圖
阿爾伯塔大學提供豐富的帶薪 Co-op 與實習（Internship）機會，多數帶薪且可計入學分。Year One 學生完成第一年、成功銜接本科後即可依所屬學院申請。下表為主要類型對照（薪資為公開概估，實際依職位與年級而定）：

工程 Co-op：加拿大領先
U of A 工程 Co-op 自1981年成立，是加拿大工程帶薪實習的長期領導者，合作企業涵蓋能源（石油、礦業）、科技、製造、環境等阿爾伯塔優勢產業。學生可在4或8個月工作期間多次交替，累積一年以上實務經驗。
Year One 後銜接工程學院、達到 GPA 門檻（最低約2.3，建議3.0+）即可申請。薪資、職缺數與名額逐年浮動，以官方公布為準。
2026 重大利好：實習不再需要單獨工簽
依加拿大移民部（IRCC）公告，自2026年4月1日起，符合資格的高等教育國際學生參加課程required的工作 placement（含 Co-op、實習）不再需要單獨的 Co-op Work Permit。只要持有附 on-campus 工作條件的有效學習許可、且該 placement 為課程必要部分並佔課程總時數的50%或以下，即可合法參與。
這項變更簡化了流程、省下申請費與數週處理時間。但它不構成移民或法律建議；個人資格、課程是否符合 required placement 條件等，須以 IRCC 官方說明與學校國際學生辦公室確認為準。
Year One 學生的實際路徑
- 完成 Year One 並達到目標 GPA（工程建議3.0+）→ 無縫銜接大二。
- 大二申請所屬學院的 Co-op／Internship（工程、商科最常見）。
- 透過 Kaplan 學術支持與 U of A Career Centre（campusBRIDGE 平台）準備履歷與職缺申請。
- 實習經驗多可計入學分，畢業時可累積加拿大本地工作經驗，對未來就業與移民均有幫助。
