這個資格面向的是已註冊 healthcare professionals，而不是只有一般美容或沙龍經驗的申請人。OTHM 規格書明確把它描述為面向持有現行專業註冊醫療人士的 knowledge and competence based qualification。
對正在比較醫美路線的學生或從業者來說，這一點非常重要。短期醫美培訓、普通美容證書，以及 Level 7 臨床注射資格，不能被當成同一類證據。
Diploma 到底學什麼
完整 Diploma 包含七個必修單元：Anatomy, Pathophysiology and Dermatology for Aesthetic Injectable Therapies；Medical Assessment, Consultation and Image Recording；Clinical Health, Safety and Welfare；Aesthetic Injectable Therapies for Facial Treatments；Aesthetic Injectable Therapies for Non-Facial Treatments；Values, Ethics and Professionalism in Applied Cosmetic Aesthetic Practice；以及 Critical Literature Review。
這個結構說明，它不是單純教某一種產品或手法，而是把面部解剖、患者評估、諮詢、影像記錄、風險管理、倫理、文獻閱讀和安全治療交付放在同一個臨床框架中。
OTHM 規格書也指出，學生在進入任何 clinical practice 前，必須先完成面部解剖／病理生理／皮膚學單元，以及 medical assessment / consultation / image recording 單元。
JCCP 認可是有條件的
OTHM 將此 Diploma 列為 JCCP approved education and training qualification；JCCP approved-provider 頁面也列出 OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies 為 approved qualification。
但 JCCP 同時給出重要限制：OTHM awards / qualifications 可由不同 education and training centres 提供，JCCP 只會認可在 JCCP Approved Education and Training Centre 完成的 OTHM qualification。
也就是說，申請人不能只看課程名稱。還要核對 delivery centre、approved status、臨床實踐安排、assessor competence、保險、場地標準，以及最終資格如何登記和呈現。
入學要求與處方監督
OTHM 規格書列明，申請人需年滿 21 歲，並持有 degree or equivalent，例如 RQF Level 6 或 SCQF Level 10。同時，這個課程還有額外專業身份要求。
學生必須是 registered healthcare professionals，例如醫生、牙醫、nurse prescribers、allied health professionals 或 independent pharmacist prescribers。申請人需提供 GMC、GDC、NMC、HCPC 等法定醫療專業監管機構註冊證據；若專業註冊帶有 conditions，可能影響資格。
如果已註冊醫療專業人士沒有 prescribing rights，OTHM 要求提供在具有 regulated prescribing rights 的合適專業人士臨床監督下工作的證據。這對護士、allied health professionals 和海外申請人都是非常重要的合規點。
為什麼它符合英國醫美監管趨勢
英國政府近年正推動 England 非手術美容程序 licensing framework。政府諮詢回應強調 public protection、training standards、premises safety、insurance，以及按程序風險分級管理。
這不等於今天每一位從業者都必須持有這一個 Level 7 資格；但它說明行業方向正在走向更強的 competence evidence、clinical governance、安全場地與可問責專業實踐。
對想認真發展醫美方向的醫療專業人士而言，regulated Level 7 qualification 可能成為更大 evidence portfolio 的一部分：專業註冊、受監督經驗、保險、處方安排、臨床紀錄、併發症管理與持續專業發展。
OTC 可以如何協助申請人判斷路線
OTC 可協助有醫護背景的申請人做初步路線核對：目前學歷層級、專業註冊、英文證明、未來執業國家、provider 選擇、centre approval 檢查，以及後續升學或簽證規劃。
對國際申請人而言，重點不只是課程聽起來是否有吸引力，而是你的 professional registration 是否可被接受、是否已有或能取得 required prescribing oversight、你的移民和專業身份是否允許臨床實踐，以及所選中心是否符合 JCCP / OTHM 的 delivery expectations。
OTC 可提供教育路線規劃、文件準備和官方來源核對。臨床授權、處方權、專業註冊、保險與合法執業權限，必須由相關 regulator、provider、insurer 或合資格專業顧問確認。
